The State of Minnesota seeks a Health Care Recipient Billing Analyst to support MHCP billing programs, ensuring accurate invoicing of premiums, fees, and spenddowns for programs like MA-EPD, MinnesotaCare, AC, MSHO, and SNBC. You will collaborate with counties, HCEO, FOD, and MMB while delivering direct customer service.

Responsibilities include applying federal/state billing rules, generating reports, and guiding staff on billing procedures, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in accounting, financial, accounts receivable, or healthcare billing with analytics to process AR, reconcile discrepancies, and analyze data.
• Excel proficiency for data manipulation, reconciliation, pivot tables, and reporting.
• Experience reconciling data from multiple sources and identifying mismatches.
• Ability to interpret policies and provide technical guidance on billing matters.
• Experience identifying operational issues and proposing process improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Billing Subject Matter Expert applying MHCP rules and guidance.
• Create and maintain reports to support daily billing operations.
• Provide technical consultation and billing guidance to staff and supervisors.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate and support operational activities impacting billing processes.
• Resolve complex and escalated billing issues across multiple systems.
