Job summary

Helius is hiring its first Head of Security to own security across the engineering platform and lead it hands-on. You will report to the COO and Head of Engineering, building toward a team and setting risk posture for a critical infrastructure company.

You will establish a strong security posture, own incident response, and partner with engineering to embed security without bottlenecks, while communicating risk to executives and customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security with high-availability, internet-facing infrastructure at scale.
• Strong engineering skills with ability to read/write code and inspect systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead security across infrastructure, cloud, and production systems.
• Own end-to-end incident response: detection, response, runbooks, on-call readiness.
