Albert Bow Limited is seeking a Head of Quant and Trading to build and run a first systematic trading book, from back-test to live capital, within 12 months. You own the alpha, design, test and run strategies, set risk limits, and hire the quant/trading team as capital scales.

The desk operates as its own proprietary business line, starting small and expanding on performance. Crypto focus then African markets, with various arbitrage and market-making strategies.

Qualificações

• 5+ years running live systematic strategies with your own P&L
• Verifiable track record: monthly returns, Sharpe, max drawdown and references
• Strong Python and data skills; build and debug back-tests and execution code
• Deep risk discipline; sized, limited and cut positions under stress

Responsabilidades

• Bring, build and back-test a set of crypto strategies with clear, written logic and capacity limits
• Run each strategy through shadow trading before it gets live capital
• Keep a research pipeline so the book does not rely on one trade
• From year 2, lead research into African markets and help design new trading products and strategies
