Highmark Health is seeking an experienced HCC coder to support risk adjustment coding for Medicare Advantage and ACA programs. You will work with physicians and teams to translate clinical documentation into ICD-10 diagnoses and HCC categories, while adhering to CMS guidelines and RPM requirements.

This role requires 3 years of HCC coding experience, CPC/CRC/CCS/RHIT credentials, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years HCC coding and/or coding and billing
• 5 years HCC coding and/or coding and billing
• Certifications include CPC, CRC, CCS, RHIT

Aufgaben

• Performs HCC coding on MA, ACA, and ESRD projects; works across models; uses multiple EMR systems to support CMS guidelines and RPM requirements.
• Assists with regulatory audits by performing first coding review and ranking of charts.
• Participates in ad-hoc projects and recommends process improvements.
• Engages in RPM coding educational meetings and annual coding Summit.
• Other duties as assigned.
