Job summary

Tech Holding is seeking a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform. This is a remote role, but candidates must be located in Hawaii and be able to work late Hawaii time.

The ideal candidate has hands-on GCP experience, IaC with Terraform, automation of deployments, and strong scripting skills. Experience with CI/CD, containers, and cloud security is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or comparable cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Understanding of containers and technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Ability to script in Python or Bash and automate tasks.
• Ability to work with remote and distributed teams in different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure in GCP.
• Support deployment, monitoring, reliability, and performance of cloud apps.
• Develop infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline releases and operations.
• Monitor production environments and assist with incident response and RCA.
• Improve cloud security, access controls, logging, and operations standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical docs, runbooks, and procedures.
• Coordinate with distributed teams across locations and time zones.
