Prointegrate LLC is seeking a Hardware Expert (MSc or PhD) for remote, contractor work (~15 hours/week) focused on AI training projects built around real-world hardware challenges. The role offers flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate of $60–$120.

You will own meaningful technical work, validate models with test data, and apply first-principles reasoning to practical constraints. Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, and SPICE is beneficial.

• Advanced degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Significant hardware engineering experience including production, testing, validation, or failure analysis.
• Experience owning a substantial engineering problem and producing verifiable results.

• Create technically rigorous, self-contained hardware engineering problems based on realistic scenarios.
• Develop reference solutions using calculations, simulations, or experimental reasoning.
