Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants in Honolulu seeks an Associate Project Manager to lead Habitat Conservation Plans and related conservation efforts. You will guide project scope, budgets, and schedules, coordinating planners, ecologists, GIS staff, and regulatory specialists to deliver high-quality planning and permitting documents.

You will oversee field data programs, stakeholder engagement, spatial analysis efforts, and business development while mentoring junior staff and ensuring technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least five years of relevant experience.
• At least one year of project management experience.
• Experience budgeting and scheduling projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and implementation of Habitat Conservation Plans and related planning efforts.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely delivery of HCPs and analyses.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of planners, ecologists, GIS staff, and regulators.
• Prepare and lead authorship of HCPs, compliance docs, and reports.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical quality reviews.
