Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a Project Manager to support our environmental team on technical consulting projects spanning engineering, geology, biology, ecology and chemistry. You will assist with reports, field tasks, and coordination with senior staff, while travel includes South Kohala and Hilo, Hawaii.

The role emphasizes environmental program delivery, client relations, and development of technical documents for compliance and NEPA assessments.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of environmental task experience.
• Ability to author technical documents; strong writing skills.
• HAZWOPER training (40 hours) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Valid driver’s license and access to government properties.
• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support to Senior Staff in client relations and project execution.
• Manage project deliverables, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain vendor/subcontractor relations and assist procurement.
• Document financial reporting and track purchase orders and distributions.
• Support field operations and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
