Anchor QEA is seeking a Managing Wetland Scientist in the Northwest to lead field surveys, mentor staff, and coordinate regulatory permitting efforts from our Seattle/Portland area offices.

The role involves managing scope, schedule, and budgets while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on restoration and mitigation projects for private and public clients. Strong writing and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Lead field surveys for wetlands and aquatic resources.
• Mentor junior staff in wetland delineation and habitat assessment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Manage natural resource assessments from planning through permitting and monitoring.
• Lead wetland and aquatic resource field surveys and data collection.
• Serve as primary author of environmental documents and mitigation plans.
• Project manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and contracts.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure objectives are met.
• Coordinate permitting strategies with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Provide QA/QC for reports and deliverables.
• Deliver technical presentations to stakeholders.
• Mentor a team of wetland scientists and habitat specialists.
