Job summary

GNY Insurance Companies is seeking a Guidewire Developer to independently design, develop, test, and deliver small ClaimCenter configurations and integrations for Cloud implementations. The role involves coordinating with business and technical teams, estimating work, and delivering user stories within established standards.

Required are 2 years in IT with 1 year in Guidewire Claims Center integration/configuration, plus familiarity with Guidewire APIs and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 2 years in IT with 1 year in Guidewire Claims Center integration/configuration roles.
• Basic understanding of Property & Casualty insurance domain.
• Familiarity with Guidewire APIs, Integration views and Product Models preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Jira, Git, Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, and unit test small Guidewire solutions for Cloud.
• Deliver small Guidewire CC configurations and integrations within a larger stream.
• Estimate and track assigned work, delivering user stories per sprint.
• Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams and business partners as needed.
• Propose bounded integration solutions and estimate effort for requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to complete project activities.
• Develop configuration solutions including PCF, Business Rules, and Entity handling.
• Implement integration solutions including Batch Processes and Message Queues.
• Establish and execute traceable unit and integration tests.
• Ensure successful completion of assigned stories within sprint cadence.
