Job summary

Greater New York Insurance Companies is seeking a Guidewire Developer - Claim Center with remote work options and up to 25% travel to NJ/NY locations. The role independently plans, develops, tests, and delivers small, well-defined ClaimCenter configurations and integrations while adhering to architecture, security, and development standards.

The candidate will collaborate with business and technical teams, estimate work, and deliver stories within sprints.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 2 years in IT with 1 year in Guidewire Claims Center Integration/Configuration.
Familiarity with Guidewire APIs and integration concepts.
Experience with Jira, Git, Bitbucket and related tools.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, test, debug, and deliver small ClaimCenter configuration and integration changes.
Deliver Guidewire Claim Center configuration and/or integration development within a larger stream.
Estimate work, track progress, and deliver small user stories.
Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams and business stakeholders.
Propose bounded integration solutions and estimate effort for requirements.
Interact with internal teams to complete project activities.
Develop configuration solutions including PCF, Business Rules, Entity, and Exception handling.
Implement integration solutions including Batch Processes, Message Queues and Event Messaging.
Execute unit and integration tests and ensure sprint completion.
