Job summary

RemodelBoom is seeking a Director of Operations to own end-to-end operations in a fully remote role across the United States. You will lead the Account Management Team and set the operating rhythm, turning priorities into measurable business results in a lean, fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record reducing churn, launching new services, and driving process improvements with AI-enabled automation, delivering scalable, high-quality outcomes for home improvement

Qualifications

• Demonstrated operations leadership experience within a small, fast-growing company.
• Measurable track record of reducing churn, increasing retention, or improving the customer lifecycle.
• Experience launching new services, products, channels, or operational capabilities from concept through implementation.
• Strong team leadership and performance-management skills, including managing managers.
• Practical fluency with AI, automation, and process redesign to augment teams.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgment translating data into priorities.
• Clear communication, high accountability, autonomous work with the founder.
• Experience leading operations within a B2B online service-based business; home improvement industry is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own the company-wide strategy and operating plan for reducing churn and increasing client retention.
• Design, test, and launch new service lines with defined business cases and success metrics.
• Oversee daily service delivery, capacity planning, workflow management, quality assurance, and issue resolution.
• Run operating cadence: OKRs, KPI reviews, dashboards, and action follow-through.
• Build scalable processes and SOPs; lead AI adoption to support the texting team.
• Identify and eliminate unnecessary costs while protecting client outcomes.
