Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta advertising, messaging, and funnel optimization.

You will manage a portfolio of accounts, lead strategy conversations, and drive direct-response copy and video script development for financial services audiences. You will report to the Associate Director of Operations and own testing strategies, performance reporting, and client retention efforts while collaborating with editors and automation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to drive campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills for ads and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and determine changes to improve results.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing.
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality.
• Set up and troubleshoot tracking, Meta pixels, and conversion events.
• Configure Calendly integrations, Zapier automations, and lead-routing workflows.
• Identify and resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems.
• Evaluate performance across media, messaging, tracking, and lead flow to identify funnel problems.
