Job summary

ClearGov is seeking a Manager, Growth & Customer Marketing to lead a two-person team and own ClearGov’s full-funnel growth motion - from a prospect’s first touch through expansion revenue with existing customers. You’ll manage and develop a team of two: one focused on inbound (SEO/AEO) and net-new ABM/ABX campaigns, the other on customer marketing for cross-sell and upsell.

You inherit both with real runway to grow in scope and title as the team’s results build. This is a player-coach role.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in B2B SaaS marketing with people-management experience.
• Proven full-funnel growth marketing experience with metrics.
• Hands-on SEO with knowledge of AI-assisted optimization.
• Experience building ABM/ABX programs across channels.
• Regular use of AI tools in marketing workflows.
• Proficient with Marketo or HubSpot and Salesforce data.
• Strong content and storytelling skills; SaaS/ GovTech a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two-person marketing team with coaching and goals.
• Set quarterly growth strategy and OKRs; report results.
• Act as player-coach on high-priority campaigns and accounts.
• Identify funnel opportunities using data; act on gaps.
• Own inbound SEO/AEO and ABM/ABX programs for pipeline.
• Partner with Sales on target accounts and hand-offs.
• Own post-sale customer marketing: newsletters, launches, webinars.
• Develop customer references; create case studies and testimonials.
• Embed AI tools in content, targeting, and reporting workflows.
• Run experiments and let data drive investment decisions.
