Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on extensive scientific and engineering programs for DOE, especially broad in scope or lacking precedents.
• Formulate and implement scientific initiatives to advance energy resources, environmental cleanup, new technologies, and energy production impacts.
• Provide expert technical advice and leadership to stakeholders on complex problems; evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions.
• Develop and implement guidance for complex scientific and engineering systems within the DOE.
• Manage project plans, budgets, and schedules; ensure adherence to DOE policy and resolve highly technical challenges.
