Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking an Interconnection Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day interconnection process for a portfolio of development and acquired projects. You will coordinate with internal teams, utilities, ISOs, and other stakeholders to develop creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes negotiation, modeling, and due diligence across markets, with a focus on cost, schedule, and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years' experience in power generation interconnections; solar experience preferred.
• Familiarity with WECC processes and interconnection tariffs.
• Strong PM, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage interconnection process and negotiations for assigned projects from siting to execution, including IA and engineering agreements.
• Coordinate power flow analysis, models, and congestion studies to support siting, PPA, and financing.
• Track and manage interconnection commercial arrangements to optimize cost, schedule, and risk.
• Build relationships with utilities, ISOs, and industry representatives on assigned projects.
• Serve as the primary contact on interconnection status and risk, escalating as needed.
• Support regional processes and due diligence related to interconnection and transmission risk.
