Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Manager, GRC to lead second line advisory coverage across critical technology and security domains, including disaster recovery, SDLC, IAM, and supply chain. You will build partnerships with engineering, risk, and policy teams to improve control maturity and risk outcomes.

You will manage and mentor analysts while aligning risk decisions with regulatory expectations and business priorities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology risk, IT controls, IT audit, cybersecurity risk, or compliance with hands-on GRC delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead second line advisory coverage for key technology and security domains across risk exposure and control effectiveness.
• Partner with engineering and technology teams to evaluate domain posture and governance improvements.
• Review and challenge risk designs to ensure scalable and effective mitigations.
• Coordinate across risk, controls, policy, audit, and assurance teams to turn incidents and findings into improvements.
• Intake and triage inherent and residual risk with SMEs to support risk treatment decisions.
• Communicate risk tradeoffs to enable leadership decisions and reporting.
• Build and coach a team of analysts, fostering agility and performance.
