Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a creative Graphics Designer for a full-time contract, based in Charleston, SC. You will develop engaging visuals, support marketing initiatives, and ensure brand consistency across digital and print media.

You will collaborate with marketing and product teams, apply typography and color theory, edit images, and deliver high-quality designs on multiple projects with tight deadlines. Proficiency in Adobe CC and familiarity with Figma/Canva are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of graphic design experience in marketing/digital media.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Familiarity with Figma, Canva, or other design tools is preferred.
• Solid understanding of typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create digital graphics, marketing materials, and social media visuals.
• Develop design concepts and layouts aligned with brand guidelines.
• Design materials for digital platforms, print, and internal communications.
• Apply typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Edit and enhance photos, illustrations, icons, and other visuals.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, product, and internal teams.
• Work with senior designers to develop effective visual solutions.
• Review designs based on stakeholder feedback and requirements.
• Ensure branding consistency and quality across materials.
• Prepare final design files for digital and print production.
• Maintain organized libraries of assets, templates, fonts, and source files.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay informed about current design trends and tools.
