Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) seeks a System Manager-Grants Office to lead all grant writing functions for the system and its foundation. This role manages the grant process from identification to tracking, building strong proposals and ensuring post-award reporting.

You will coordinate a team of grant coordinators and work with internal leaders and funders to secure funding. The position is full-time, remote for daily work with on-site visits once per quarter, based in Springfield, IL,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications or related field required.
• 5+ years of grant writing, philanthropy, fundraising or communications experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all grant writing functions for HSHS and HSSFF to secure funding.
• Identify, assess, submit and track grant opportunities across sectors.
• Prepare and lead teams to submit compelling applications and proposals.
• Manage disbursement of grant payments and post-award reporting.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal leaders, funders and recipients.
