Washington University in St. Louis is seeking an experienced Grants Budget Specialist to support the full pre-award lifecycle, helping faculty develop competitive proposals and ensure compliant, financially sound budgets. The role collaborates with faculty, leadership and staff to deliver timely submissions.

The position is primarily remote, with monthly on-campus meetings and occasional in-person activities. Strong budgeting, regulatory knowledge, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience required.
• Experience with pre-award research administration and budgeting preferred.
• Familiarity with RMS and SUBS is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work remotely.

Responsabilités

• Support proposal development and submission processes.
• Prepare and review budgeting data and justifications.
• Coordinate subawards and obtain pricing quotes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of data for proposals.
• Collaborate with PI and staff across departments.
• Maintain online grant tracking in Monday.com.
