Job summary

Think and Ink Grant Consulting is seeking an entry-level Associate Grant Consultant to support grant writing, research, and management for nonprofit clients. The role emphasizes learning, collaborating with clients, and delivering persuasive funder-ready proposals.

The position is full-time and remote with Atlanta, GA preferences; reports to the CEO. A two-year grant-writing background is preferred, with strong budgeting, communication, and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• At least two years of grant writing experience.
• Strong budgeting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to lead meetings and provide advisory support.
• Experience with foundations and government grants.
• Familiarity with grants.gov, SAM.gov and foundation portals.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across all Think and Ink Grants service areas: grant consulting, grant writing, grant research, grant management, and grant evaluation
• Write grant proposals per our quality assurance process
• Compile all required documents and attachments as required by funders
• Lead client meetings as touchpoints to ask questions, give an overview, provide updates on pending applications, guide the grant writing process, and manage client expectations
• Manage projects and provide updates on the entire submission process, including deadlines, final delivery, and subtasks
• Serve as an advisor to provide grant consulting support as the need arises
• Conduct prospect research to find new and update existing funders
• Review, update, and create budgets for the client organization per funder requirements
• Update and maintain a grant application calendar summarizing potential funding opportunities
• Attend weekly team meetings to discuss strategy, next steps, and upcoming meetings
