Qualifications

• Excellent academic track record
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, STEM or related field
• Proven ability to write high-quality, maintainable code in one or more of Python, Rust, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript or Java
• Experience with Ubuntu or Linux distributions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Shape the product roadmap in global sprints every six months
• Focus on design and user experience for developer tools
• Write high-quality, resilient code serving millions of users
• Master core programming languages and Linux system knowledge
• Engage with users and the open source community through reviews and issue tracking
• Respond to customer issues and understand enterprise requirements
• Develop awareness of security in software design and implementation
