Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Grade B Fee Earner to join its Serious Injury team. This fully remote role involves managing multi-track serious injury claims with values between £50,000 and £150,000, delivering excellent client care and supporting colleagues.

The role emphasizes strong advocacy, meticulous document work, and effective communication with clients, experts, and counsel, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEx with at least four years' post-qualification experience, or equivalent experience supporting Grade B charging rates.
• Proven experience handling serious injury claims and multi-track litigation.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of court procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care skills.
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
• Confident using case management systems, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of serious injury claims from inception through to settlement.
• Deliver excellent client care and maintain regular communication.
• Investigate claims, analyse evidence, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and schedules of loss.
• Liaise with medical experts, counsel, and other specialist professionals.
• Secure interim payments, arrange rehabilitation and maximise client settlements.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to technical case reviews.
• Support team performance and business development activities.
