Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Support Engineering Manager to lead the US Government support team, delivering world-class service for government customers. You will guide engineers, refine processes, and collaborate with product and engineering to meet regulatory needs.

You will hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team, participate in on-call rotations, and drive continuous improvement in customer outcomes across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing support engineering teams for enterprise products.
• Experience managing technical support for government or regulated environments.
• Ability to hire, onboard, and grow support engineers with a focus on team balance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Support Engineers focused on government customers and high-quality case resolution.
• Collaborate with other managers to design and evolve the support model, processes, and tooling.
• Drive hiring efforts from sourcing to onboarding and development.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to align support with government use cases.
• Participate in manager on-call rotation during working hours for escalated incidents.
• Join customer calls and ticket reviews to understand challenges and improve support.
• Coach and mentor engineers on troubleshooting, communication, and professional growth.
• Identify patterns in government needs and implement process improvements.
