Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Governance Engineer II - Remote to convert enterprise API, data, security, and responsible AI policies into practical, automated governance solutions. You will build governance-as-code, reusable standards, and guardrails enabling API access and AI agents to enterprise resources.

You will collaborate with architecture, security, risk, data, and engineering teams to automate compliance, improve lifecycle management, and create self-service governance for

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in software engineering, API development, or related field.
Experience with REST APIs design, testing, and lifecycle management (OpenAPI/Swagger).
Experience implementing governance-controls within CI/CD pipelines (governance-as-code).

Responsibilities

Translate policies into implementable API and data governance standards.
Maintain governance artifacts and reusable components.
Track compliance, adoption and remediation across engineering teams.
Establish engineering guardrails for AI agents accessing APIs and data.
Review agent workflows for security and compliance.
Partner with security, architecture, data and responsible AI teams to operationalize policy.
