Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Systems Engineer specializing in Go and Hypervisors to design and implement low-level software powering virtualization infrastructure. You will work across hardware-software boundaries to optimize performance and reliability.

You will develop high-performance Go-based systems, architect virtualization layers, troubleshoot latency issues, and collaborate to set standards for internal tools. 100% remote with flexible hours and competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Embedded and Systems Engineering or related low-level programming roles.
Advanced proficiency in Go (Golang) for systems development.
Deep understanding of hypervisor technologies and low-level virtualization.
Strong background in low-level systems programming and hardware-software interaction.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize scalable, high-performance systems software using Go.
Architect and manage low-level virtualization layers and hypervisor integrations.
Troubleshoot and refine complex hardware-software interactions to minimize latency.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define standards for internal infrastructure tools.
Maintain rigorous code quality and documentation for critical underlying components.
