Job summary

Quicknode is seeking a Senior Go Engineer to help design, build, and scale high-throughput blockchain RPC services as part of the RPC Platform team. You will own backend systems from design to production, drive uptime, latency reductions, and collaborate with product, infrastructure, and developer experience groups.

We value deep experience with Go and distributed architectures, plus familiarity with Web3 infrastructure, RPC services, and data streaming pipelines.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience building and operating backend or distributed systems in high-scale production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Go, with a demonstrated ability to quickly adopt new languages and frameworks as needed.
• Deep experience designing and operating distributed systems, databases, and streaming architectures.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, reliable systems with measurable impact on performance, availability, and developer experience.
• Experience working with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, or high-throughput API platforms, including familiarity with RPC services, node infrastructure, or data streaming pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex, cross-system issues in production environments.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and deliver outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
