Our global pharmaceutical services client is seeking a seasoned Organizational Change Management Lead to drive change initiatives aligned with strategic IT and business transformation goals. This role will serve as a key partner in ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide change efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify cultural and organizational alignment risk points; develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and drive cultural transformation aligned with strategic objectives.
- Independently lead change interventions across IT and affected business units through assessment, strategy design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Manage a team of associates and contractors to execute targeted strategies and plans in communication, stakeholder engagement, coaching, training, and readiness.
- Provide direct coaching and support to executive sponsors to foster active and visible sponsorship of change.
- Conduct organizational readiness assessments, interpret findings, and deliver insights in a clear and actionable format.
- Build and manage a community of practice within IT to enhance the organization’s change management maturity and success rates.
- Collaborate with initiative sponsors and leaders to evaluate change impacts and design integrated change management strategies.
- Develop change strategies grounded in a situational awareness of the change scope and affected audiences.
- Apply a structured methodology to manage the people side of change stemming from major IT programs.
- Design reinforcement mechanisms and celebrate success milestones to sustain long-term change.
- Promote and evolve change management tools, templates, and practices across the organization.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Experience & Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in project/program management and organizational change management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven ability to design and implement effective change strategies that align with business objectives.
- Deep understanding of change processes and human response to change.
- Formal training or certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise change and fostering continuous improvement.
- Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and lifecycle stages.
- Experience managing complex, enterprise-level change programs.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organization.
- Influential leadership style with the ability to motivate stakeholders toward a shared vision.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage change efforts independently.
- Builds trust and credibility with leaders and team members alike through clear communication and consistent execution.
- Committed to delivering results on time and aligning efforts with strategic business outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective collaborator and team player.
- Certification as a Change Management Professional is a strong plus.
