Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks an Executive Director, Assistant General Counsel, Intellectual Property (IP) to drive global IP strategy for neuroscience assets and platform tech. This leader will supervise IP professionals and partner with R&D, development, and commercial teams to provide strategic IP guidance across all stages of the product lifecycle.

The role requires extensive patent law expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex licenses and external counsel worldwide,

Qualifications

• Qualified patent attorney with extensive biopharma IP experience.
• Experience managing IP teams and external counsel.
• Proven ability to conduct due diligence and negotiate licenses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global IP strategies for neuroscience assets and platform technologies.
• Supervise IP team members and coordinate with cross-functional colleagues.
• Manage worldwide patent portfolios and outside counsel.
• Provide IP due diligence and input on collaborations, licensing, and transactional documents.
