Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Global Data Domain Lead to drive the discovery and definition of core data products, bridging business strategy and data delivery to maximize measurable outcomes. You will align priorities, articulate value, and guide investments across data domains and initiatives.

In this role, you will coordinate with data teams, OCTO, and executives to deliver value, ensure governance and data quality, and measure business impact while communicating progress and risks.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in data products, technology, or product-driven organizations.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Experience with ELT and ETL pipelines and data migrations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and build relationships.
• Proactive, strategic problem-solver who independently identifies opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and milestones across data product initiatives.
• Own communication of business objectives and drive delivery across data teams and executives.
• Develop narratives for data products to secure stakeholder buy-in and executive support.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive problem definition and value articulation, including success metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering to clarify expectations and ensure delivery of business value.
• Measure and communicate the business impact of domain initiatives.
• Advance data quality, governance, and sustainability standards.
