Wellspring Worldwide, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to serve as the senior authority on legal, compliance, and privacy for its global operations.

You will partner with leadership, including the CTO/CISO, to drive risk management, policy development, and AI-powered legal tools across the organization. The role covers legal strategy, contract review, governance, regulatory affairs, and data privacy, with leadership over cross-border matters and interaction with regulators.

Formación

• JD, LLB, or equivalent degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction; multi-jurisdictional licensure preferred.
• 5-7 years of corporate/legal experience with international exposure.
• Experience in a Data Privacy Officer function with GDPR ownership.
• Proven experience managing internal controls frameworks and regulatory compliance programs.
• Strong knowledge of international business law, regulations, and best practices.
• Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage external counsel and legal budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee legal compliance, risk management across jurisdictions, and create policies to mitigate risks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts; manage cross-border transactions.
• Advise on corporate governance and board-related matters; liaison with finance and secretaries of state filings.
• Lead regulatory affairs initiatives, develop internal controls, and ensure enforcement of security policies.
• Own and manage data governance, privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, UK GDPR, etc.).
• Champion AI-enabled legal tech adoption and governance for risk, privacy, and compliance.
• Provide training to internal teams on contracts, compliance, data privacy, and responsible use of AI tools.
