Ontic seeks a Global Commodity Specialist to drive enterprise-wide strategic sourcing across key commodity categories, including DC motors, windings, and hardware. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and site Supply Chain teams to align global commodity strategies with business goals and market conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capabilities with cost analysis and should-cost methods.
• Understanding of contract management principles and supplier agreements.
• Knowledge of global supply markets, commodity dynamics and risk.

Responsabilités

• Lead and execute strategic sourcing projects under the Global Commodity Senior Manager.
• Manage end-to-end RFx processes: supplier identification, market analysis, bidding, evaluation, negotiation, award recommendations.
• Support global sourcing initiatives including supplier consolidation and license considerations.
• Identify and deliver cost-reduction opportunities via PPV, VA/VE, should-cost analyses and competitive sourcing.
• Develop and manage global supplier agreements and lifecycle activities.
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and service metrics.
• Provide market intelligence and commodity insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute sourcing initiatives.
