Air Products and Chemicals seeks a Glass industry Sales Engineer in a remote role, requiring 40-50% travel to customer sites across the U.S. and Canada. You will present solutions and collaborate with liquid-bulk and on-site sales teams to sell liquefied industrial gases and large on-site plants.

Preferred BS/MS in engineering; five years in glass melting or glass/ceramic operations. Strong cross-functional skills, furnace knowledge, refractories, and combustion understanding are advantageous.

Qualifications

• BS/MS engineering degree preferred; undergraduate business degree or MBA a plus.
• Five years' experience in glass melting or glass/ceramic operations.
• Knowledge of refractories, furnace design and combustion systems is a plus.
• Experience in technical service, sales, or applications development is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead new business signings and technical sales of gases, technology and equipment to the glass and ceramic industries.
• Provide guidance to the applied research group for new offering development and decarbonization efforts.
• Identify and develop new prospects for industrial gas usage and equipment/technology sales.
• Develop and demonstrate technology demos in the field to prove benefits of Air Products’ offerings.
• Engage with customers, like marketing and lead generation, to build a broad opportunity pipeline.
