Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a GIS Technician to coordinate, prepare, and process GIS data for our utility networks. You will edit and maintain digital map data and support GIS mapping projects.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, 1–3 years of experience, and knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcCatalog, ESRI geodatabases, and MS Office. A valid driver's license and strong communication are essential. This is a remote-hybrid position within the service territories.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience required.
• 1–3 years in a similar GIS/mapping role.
• Familiar with electric utility infrastructure and terminology.
• Proficient with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcCatalog, and ESRI geodatabases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prepare, and process GIS information and mapping data.
