Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Database & GIS Geologist, Special Projects in the United States. This full-time role focuses on strengthening geological data management across exploration and development projects, overseeing databases, GIS systems, datasets, and digital workflows to support technical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Geology, GIS, Geomatics, Earth Sciences or related discipline with 5+ years of geological data management/gis experience.
• Experience managing geological databases and GIS applications within mining or mineral exploration.
• Familiarity with NI 43-101 reporting requirements and Canadian mineral exploration standards.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and/or QGIS, including spatial analysis and map production.
• Experience with geological database platforms such as acQuire or MX Deposit.

Responsibilities

• Lead geological database and GIS management across exploration projects with emphasis on data integrity and security.
• Develop and enforce workflows, metadata, governance, version control, backup, and validation.
• Provide QA/QC and ensure data quality for reporting and due diligence.
• Support technical reporting, resource evaluation, and project studies with reliable data.
• Perform GIS analysis and visualize geological information to support decision-making.
• Prepare maps, figures, and data packages for stakeholders.
• Integrate historical and new data into databases and GIS platforms with proper documentation.
