Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Preserve Data Integration Specialist to collect and manage preserve-based infrastructure data, provide GIS support, and deliver training across staff. The role includes developing dashboards and reports to support recreational trail practices and accessibility guidelines.

Remote in the United States with up to 30% travel. You will coordinate data collection for ~150 preserves, use ArcGIS online tools and UTAP/HETAP processes, and contribute to the Land Asset

Qualifications

• MS or BS degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent
• Experience managing, maintaining, and populating databases and manual files
• Experience with interpretation of image analysis, complex spatial analysis, data modeling and landscape scenario analysis
• Experience managing multiple projects
• Experience operating GIS software, analyzing data and producing data reports and creating maps
• Experience interpreting results and delivering training to practitioners
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, and web browsers

Responsibilities

• Collect, manage and maintain preserve-based infrastructure data across teams
• Perform data analysis and design advanced queries and professional reports
• Process spatial and relational datasets from cartographic and tabular sources
• Develop and deliver training to staff individually and in groups
• Produce maps, dashboards and reports to support implementation of best practices
• Maintain GIS library and compile land protection and biodiversity information
