Alignerr is seeking a skilled German-speaking voice actor to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness and expressiveness. This fully remote, hourly contract role offers flexible scheduling and a chance to shape how German AI voices sound.

You will work with scripts, provide detailed feedback, and refine prompts to improve synthesized voice quality. Prior voice acting experience and a quiet recording space are essential, with no AI cloning involved.

Qualifications

• Experience in voice acting or narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or comparable audio performance work.
• Fully fluent in spoken German with a natural, confident delivery.
• Equipped with professional recording gear and access to a quiet, controlled recording space.
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances.

Responsibilities

• Record clear, high-fidelity German audio using provided scripts and prompts.
• Evaluate AI-generated German speech for naturalness, accuracy, rhythm, and expressiveness.
• Provide detailed, constructive feedback to help improve synthesized voice quality.
• Review and refine scripts to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver.
• Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule.
