Job summary

Besedo Global Services AB is seeking a German-speaking Content Moderator to join an international moderation team on a freelance basis. This fully remote role is open to candidates anywhere in Europe, with duties including reviewing user-generated content and ensuring compliance with client policies and community guidelines.

Requirements include German C1+ proficiency, English at A2–B1, and willingness to work shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• German language proficiency C1+ (Proficient/Advanced).
• English language proficiency A2–B1 (Basic/Conversational).
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with online platforms.
• Willingness to work on a shift basis, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Interest in markets, sharing economy, and new technologies is a plus.
• Freelancer entity with active VAT registration.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Understand and remain knowledgeable of client policies and guidelines.
• Visually navigate and review images, accounts, and text-based content.
• Evaluate and make decisions in accordance with defined policies and guidelines.
• Report and provide feedback on trends to the manager promptly.
• Escalate violations of client policies and fraud using internal tools.
• Identify workflow improvement opportunities for relevant teams.
• Interface effectively with internal and client teams.
• Balance priorities of workflow with stakeholder expectations.
• Participate in training to conduct moderation accurately.
• Support different workflows, clients, and markets as needed.
