Job summary

Cindera Inc. is building geospatial data services that turn wildfire zones, parcel boundaries, and assessor records into reliable products for homeowners, insurers, and partners. This remote US role focuses on fast, accurate systems, data quality, and scalable APIs that power maps, scores, and vendor integrations.

You will work closely with product, data, and customer-facing teammates to keep outputs trustworthy as data sources evolve and new use cases come online.

Qualifications

• Production-grade backend systems experience.
• Geospatial data experience in a real product environment.
• Ability to design reliable APIs and data workflows with imperfect external sources.
• Strong focus on data accuracy, performance, and operational simplicity.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain geospatial services that ingest, normalize, and serve parcel and wildfire risk data.
• Build APIs and backend workflows that power scoring, map rendering, and partner integrations.
• Improve data quality, validation, and update pipelines across changing datasets.
• Optimize spatial queries and map performance for scale.
• Collaborate with teammates to translate messy real-world data into clear product behavior.
