Job summary

Ardent is seeking an Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain geospatial applications supporting DHS GMO programs. You will focus on building user interfaces, workflows, and APIs that enable efficient access, processing, and sharing geospatial data across enterprise systems.

You will collaborate with data, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure geospatial solutions, ensuring compliance with DHS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in CS/IT/GIS or related field.
• 3+ years of application development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and API development.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications including UI, workflows, and APIs for DHS geospatial systems.
• Design, build, and maintain apps integrating geospatial data platforms and enterprise systems.
• Support geospatial apps across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Develop scripts and automated workflows for data processing and integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure testing, debugging, and deployment aligned with SDLC.
