Virtual Vocations Inc. is seeking a Georgia Licensed Ancillary Coder for a full-time remote position. You will review and assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 HCPCS codes for hospital outpatient records, focusing on Diagnostic/Clinical, ER, Recurring, and Specimen types in an acute hospital setting.

The role requires AHIMA-credentialed certification when hired and emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-hospital, remote environment.

Formación

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• AHIMA-accredited coding certificate preferred.
• One or more coding certifications required upon hire (RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CCS, CPC).
• No prior experience required; hospital coding experience preferred.
• Experience in remote coding and multi-hospital organizations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review and analyze medical record documentation to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 HCPCS codes.
• Focus on coding for Diagnostic/Clinical, Emergency Room, Recurring, and Specimen patient types in an acute hospital environment.
• Adhere to coding guidelines and criteria while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
