Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Geologist contractor who will evaluate surface and subsurface information to identify, characterize, and extract deposits of antibacterial clay for health uses. The role involves remote work with occasional field visits and collaboration with senior geologists to advance exploration and production.

The position emphasizes strong knowledge of geology, mineralogy, and sampling techniques, plus experience interpreting drill data and land ownership considerations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Earth Sciences or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate surface and subsurface clay deposits near Crater Lake for production readiness.
• Locate additional deposits for future exploration and mining.
• Review and interpret drill holes and bulk sampling data to ensure clay quality for human and animal use.
• Collaborate with two senior geologists to compile findings and plan next steps.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to bring the deposit into full production.
