Job summary

Ursa Space Systems is seeking a GEOINT Analyst to independently execute end-to-end geospatial analysis, fusing multimodal imagery and automated analytics to deliver high-accuracy intelligence products.

The role partners with senior technical leads and cross-functional teams, while supporting 24/7 operations with flexible hours. This full-time, remote position offers exposure to cutting-edge satellite analytics and production workflows.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional GEOINT/Remote Sensing experience.
• Proficiency in analyzing multi-source imagery (SAR and EO).
• Familiarity with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS).
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (evenings/weekends).
• U.S. Citizenship required by federal contract.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute end-to-end geospatial analysis across diverse geographies and threat models.
• Use AI-model workflows in reporting processes.
• Fuse SAR, EO, RF, AIS data with secondary data to generate actionable intelligence.
• Analyze imagery across multiple providers, formats, and satellite orbits.
• Create and validate maps, spatial layers, and visual intelligence products for clients and internal projects.
• Ensure output data accuracy through auditing and quality checks.
• Identify bottlenecks in production pipelines and propose solutions.
• Support research and benchmarking of ML algorithms in production workflows.
• Contribute to updating SOPs, technical documentation, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer requirements into production steps.
• Provide troubleshooting for data ingestion and production pipelines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Prototyping for data processing needs.
