The candidate will collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality clinical curation, manage ethical considerations, and support development of laboratory policies and procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling is required.
• ABGC/CCGC Board Certified or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Support high-quality clinical curation of databases, test menu, and multi-gene panels per guidelines.
• Collaborate with client-facing and laboratory teams to maintain clinical information streams and EHR integrations.
• Support phenotype-driven testing products by abstracting clinical information as an individual contributor.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ethical considerations in genetic testing, including informed consent, privacy, data sharing, incidental findings, and equity in access to genomic services.
• Collaborate with molecular geneticists and other departments to provide high quality, timely test results and achieve organizational goals.
• Support content creation of reports, publications, and training materials.
• Provide insight into the clinical utility of genetic testing and educational formats to improve patient outcomes.

Education

Master’s Degree Genetic Counseling

ABGC/CCGC Board Certified or eligible
