Job summary

Innodata seeks a Generative AI Specialist to join its global SME on Demand network. This part-time, remote role lets writers, linguists, educators, researchers contribute to cutting-edge AI development on a flexible schedule.

You will help LLMs learn language and reasoning, shaping tomorrow's AI from anywhere in the world on your own terms. This is not a traditional full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in humanities required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Expert level English proficiency (C1/C2).

Responsibilities

• Assess AI model or algorithm performance using predefined questions.
• Label content elements rather than whole items.
• Assign predefined categories or labels to items.
• Evaluate content quality and appropriateness per guidelines.
• Generate labels to aid understanding of concepts or trends.
• Create additional training data via data transformations.
• Review data for feature/function alignment with project guidelines.
• Label model outputs to identify content type (e.g., clickbait).
• Rank items based on defined criteria.
• Develop prompts for language models or AI systems.
• Evaluate relevancy on a scale (1-3/1-5, etc.).
• Generate model responses to prompts.
• Rewrite text preserving meaning and style per guidelines.
• Produce concise summaries of longer texts or data.
• Transcribe audio to written text.
• Translate text or speech between languages.
• Gather diverse data types for training, evaluation or fine-tuning.

Skills
