Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Generative AI Engineer for a fully remote role within the United States. You will design and operationalize fine-tuning workflows for large language models, collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver robust, production-grade ML solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of ML experience, deep knowledge of Python and PyTorch, and hands-on experience with transformer fine-tuning at scale.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6+ years of ML research and engineering experience with LLM exposure.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with production-grade practices.
• Hands-on experience fine-tuning transformer-based language models at scale.
• Familiar with distributed training (FSDP, ZeRO, pipeline parallelism).
• Experience with RLHF/DPO or related preference optimization techniques.
• Solid evaluation methodologies, benchmarks, and human evaluation design.
• Experience operating GPU-based training pipelines and handling failures.
• Clear communication and track record of shipping impactful LLM work.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate fine-tuning workflows for LLMs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Balance data quality, compute budgets, evaluation rigor, and velocity.
• Contribute to code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
