Job summary

Innodata Inc. is seeking a Generative AI Specialist to join our SME on Demand program on a part-time, remote basis.

You will help AI systems learn language and reasoning by annotating data, labeling content, and creating training material for large language models, contributing from anywhere in the world on a flexible schedule. Ideal candidates hold a humanities degree and have strong English proficiency (C1/C2).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in humanities required; advanced degrees preferred.
• English proficiency at professional/expert level (C1/C2) required.

Responsibilities

• Rate and assess AI model performance using evaluative questions.
• Label elements of content rather than the content as a whole.
• Assign predefined categories or labels to items.
• Evaluate perceived content quality and appropriateness.
• Generate labels to advance understanding of concepts or trends.
• Create training data by transforming data (text paraphrasing, summarization) to improve diversity.
• Review data to ensure features work as intended per guidelines.
• Label model outputs to identify clickbait, gaming videos, or branded content.
• Rank items based on specified preferences or criteria.
• Create prompts for language models or AI systems.
• Generate content relevancy judgments on a scale.
• Produce concise summaries of longer text or data.
• Convert speech or audio to written text.
• Translate text or speech between languages.
• Assemble data types for training/evaluation/fine-tuning.
