Innodata Inc. is seeking a Generative AI Associate for a flexible, part-time, remote project-based role. The SME on Demand will contribute to AI development by labeling, evaluating, and transforming data to train large language models.

The position supports diverse contributors worldwide, with a focus on language and logic skills and high-quality data creation. The role emphasizes independent scheduling, impact on AI systems, and collaboration with a global team to advance responsible AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in humanities required.
• Advanced degrees (Master/PhD) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in English at advanced level (C1/C2).

Responsibilities

• Rate and assess AI model performance using evaluative questions.
• Label content elements and assign predefined categories.
• Evaluate content quality and appropriateness against guidelines.
• Generate labels to advance understanding of concepts and trends.
• Create additional training data via transformations (text, images, audio).
• Review data to ensure features work as intended per project guidelines.
• Annotate model outputs to identify clickbait, branded content, or other classifications.
• Rank items based on specified preferences or criteria.
• Create prompts for language model interactions.
• Generate responses to prompts using AI systems.
• Rewrite text to improve clarity and adherence to guidelines.
• Produce concise summaries of longer texts or data.
• Convert speech to text and translate text between languages.
• Assemble data from various formats for model training/evaluation.
