Job summary

Benture is seeking a board-certified General Surgeon (MD/DO) to evaluate health AI models by reviewing de-identified charts and judging AI-generated answers in general surgery. You will compare responses to patient charts, write concise rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and safety, flag potential errors to protect patient safety, and participate in ongoing model improvements.

Remote, hourly contractor with flexible part-time hours, immediate start.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in General Surgery.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license.
• Residency completed; fellowship if required.
• Currently practicing in the US with at least 1 year of independent practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI answers to general surgery questions for clinical accuracy, safety and alignment with current standards of care
• Check each answer against the patient chart and decide which of two responses is stronger
• Write structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and clarity
• Flag errors that could compromise patient safety
