Job summary

biBerk is seeking a General Liability Claims Representative to handle non-litigated bodily injury claims for business owners. The role emphasizes analyzing coverage issues, strong writing, and collaboration with the claims team.

The position is fully remote across the United States and offers a comprehensive benefits package. A bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of claims experience or 5+ years without a degree is preferred; CPCU is a plus.

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant claims experience
Bachelor's degree not required with 5+ years of relevant claims experience
CPCU or other industry designation a plus

Responsibilities

Manages an active desk of general liability bodily injury claims under business owner policies
Analyses coverage issues under the Business owners coverage form, garagekeepers, hired non-owned auto, auto services and other standard industry forms
Analyzes, investigates, and evaluates new loss notices and claim tenders
Expeditiously analyzes and positions claim under applicable coverage
Collaborates on setting reserves at appropriate level for claims
Uses good judgment in managing ALAE in claims investigation
Appropriately documents claim files in accordance with established guidelines
Obtains and maintains adjuster licenses, as required
